Handbag charms make a fab present and are reletively inexpensive to make. A mixed bag of beads can be bought at places like Hobbycraft or even Dunelm and other craft/haberdasheries. I gave the first charm to my best friend. I will post a step by step tutorial asap!

Wow! I have added my first post and I hope it is the first of many! I would love to hear from fellow jewellery makers and I hope to start a group up in the Preston area.

You will have to bear with me, I am new to this blogging lark and I am not really sure what I am doing! I have been card making for the past 5 years but I am pretty new to making jewellery. I start making jewellery as gifts for family and friends as I wanted to give something special but was trying to work to a really tight budget. I love working with different beads and crystals (I am a bit like a magpie, I am attracted to things that sparkle and gleam)! I intend to be adding things here regularly and I am hoping to add photos and tutorials as soon as I can!
